4th grade class at St. John the Evangelist, Carmichael, CA give prayers and dedications to Jonathan in their own way

My son played at State Cup -- his 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Rummel, had the class give a prayer for Jonathan. You can see her response. They all feel pain for the family.

Thank you so much for including a prayer in your class. Jeremy told me first thing that your class prayed for him. It is very sad for any family to lose a child. I can't even imagine.

I showed the e-mail to Mrs. Johnson and I believe she put it in tomorrow's Mass. We will pray for his family. What shocking news!

Can you include this child in a special prayer at mass on Friday at St. Johns - a quick prayer in class (Mrs. Rummel). He is a 4th grader in Santa Clara. He was killed in a car accident on the way back from State Cup soccer tournament in Manteca that Jeremy played in. It is very sad.

Thank you ---
Becky

We are so sorry and feel like it is our own -- it could have happened to any of us. Please let the family know that we are keeping them in our prayers.

Our family, player Jeremy Hayes, San Juan Lightning 99 White team player -- would like Jonathon's parents to know that he will pray for his family along with his classmates at St. John the Evangelist church in Carmichael, CA. He will ask that Jonathan be given a special prayer at mass on Friday.

We have given a contribution via PayPal but realize that no $$ amount is nearly enough for the pain they must be feeling.

My heart and tears go out to you,

Becky Hayes
