To the Norcal Participants,
Jonathan Manzo, from the Santa Clara Sporting 98 u10 boys team was killed in a car accident driving home from the games yesterday. The team has decided not to continue playing without him in this event. Please include his family in your thoughts and prayers.
I hope that everyone will remember that these games are played by the kids for the kids, and there are a lot of things more important than winning a soccer game.
Jonathan was a very talented soccer player, but more importantly, a great teammate and friend to all the boys on the team.
Please drive safely home from your games, and remember to hug your children every day.
We will always remember Jonathan and his spirit.

En donde quiera que te encuentres Jonathan, que descanse tu espiritu y se regocigen los angeles con tu talento! Tu familia no te tiene mas en vida, pero el lugar donde estas ahora, esta mas lleno de luz porque tu te encuentras ahi.
Como mama de dos hijos que juegan futbol, mis mas siceros deceos de fortaleza a toda tu familia y amigos.
